In short: For a Shopify fashion brand that designs in-house and produces with external factories, KNKTD OS covers the most of the operation, from techpack to return. Cin7 suits multichannel and wholesale inventory, Unleashed suits wholesale-led brands that live in Xero or QuickBooks, and Katana and MRPeasy suit brands that manufacture in their own workshop.

We make KNKTD OS, so read this knowing that. We have tried to be useful anyway: every competitor price and feature below was checked against the vendor's own website on 13 October 2026, and each tool is described by the kind of brand it actually suits.

KNKTD OS

Best for: Shopify fashion brands of two to fifty people that design their own product and work with external factories.

KNKTD OS is operations software for fashion brands on Shopify: product development, inventory, orders, shipping and marketing in one connected system. A style carries its techpack, size chart, costing and lifecycle; once approved it becomes the inventory product, purchase order and Shopify listing without being re-entered. Stock is held by size, location and bin, reorders are pre-filled from size curves, orders are scanned before the box closes, labels are bought on your own carrier accounts, and returns run natively through Shopify.

Watch out for: no B2B ordering portal, no batch or serial traceability, no accounting integration, and no production-floor scheduling.

Price: four flat plans from $100 to $500 a month, priced by team size, with every module on every plan and a 14-day free trial. See pricing.

Cin7 Core

Best for: product businesses selling across several channels, including wholesale.

Cin7 is mature inventory software. Its product families handle up to three options such as colour and size, with matrix entry on purchase and sales orders. It has a native Shopify connection, a B2B portal add-on and Xero or QuickBooks sync on every plan.

Watch out for: no product development or techpacks; carrier labels come through integrations such as ShipStation or EasyPost; add-on prices are quoted.

Price: Standard $349, Pro $599 and Advanced $1,199 a month, for 5, 10 and 15 users. Read our Cin7 vs KNKTD OS comparison.

Unleashed

Best for: wholesale and distribution businesses that need price tiers and accounting sync.

Unleashed offers up to ten sell-price tiers, customer pricing, batch and serial tracking and a B2B store add-on, with Xero and QuickBooks Online integrations.

Watch out for: each size and colour is its own product code rather than a generated grid; no product development; multi-bin warehousing needs Pro or an add-on; onboarding is a one-off fee.

Price: Lite $99, Core $399 and Pro $729 a month, for three to five users. Read our Unleashed vs KNKTD OS comparison.

Katana

Best for: brands that manufacture their own goods and want manufacturing orders and a shop-floor app.

Katana handles manufacturing orders, multi-level bills of materials, outsourced purchase orders and a native Shopify connection that brings orders in and pushes stock out.

Watch out for: no techpacks or product development; Katana does not create products in Shopify; labels come through integrations.

Price: a free plan with unlimited users and 30 SKUs, and a custom-priced annual plan. Read our Katana vs KNKTD OS comparison.

MRPeasy

Best for: small manufacturers that cut, sew and schedule production in their own workshop.

MRPeasy is MRP software: production planning and scheduling, work centres, procurement and a matrix BOM that varies fabric by size and colour.

Watch out for: Shopify products are not synced (they are matched by SKU); labels go through ShipStation; importing Shopify returns needs the Enterprise plan.

Price: $49, $69, $99 or $149 per user per month. Read our MRPeasy vs KNKTD OS comparison.

Also worth a look

Brightpearl is a retail operations platform with quote-based pricing; see our Brightpearl vs KNKTD OS comparison. Uphance is an apparel operations platform priced after a demo. Zoho Inventory is a low-cost inventory app with a Shopify integration, a reasonable start for a very small brand without development or shipping needs.

How to choose in three questions

  1. Do you run the factory? If yes, start with Katana or MRPeasy. If your factories are partners, you need development and buying around production, not scheduling inside it.
  2. Is Shopify your main channel? If most revenue is direct to consumer on Shopify, prefer a system that edits orders, buys labels and processes returns against Shopify directly.
  3. Is wholesale your main channel? If yes, price tiers and a B2B portal matter more; look hard at Cin7 and Unleashed.
